“Nations do not die from heart attacks. First their LANGUAGE is taken away.” This is a quote from a Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko. This is what happened in La Leche League International – Russians forced Ukrainians to abandon Ukrainian for the convenience of everybody. Everybody who is Russian. La Leche League International violated its own policies and did nothing about it thus approving of discrimination of Ukrainians. Policies without actions are meaningless.
